What it is
Chainabuse is a public scam-reporting platform backed by major blockchain security firms. It indexes reported scam addresses, websites and playbooks across multiple chains.
When you need it
- Before sending funds to an unfamiliar address — check whether it has been reported
- Vetting a suspicious "investment opportunity" or "airdrop claim" domain
- After being scammed: filing a report warns others and supports police reports in some jurisdictions
Quick start
- Paste the wallet address or URL into the search box.
- Existing reports → walk away. No reports → not proof of safety, just not reported yet.
- When filing a report, include the TxID, screenshots and a timeline — completeness is what makes it useful.
Safety note
"No reports found" never equals safe. Scam addresses rotate constantly. The reliable rule remains: any profit opportunity that comes to you uninvited should be treated as a scam.
