OKX Minimum Deposit: Check the Crypto Limit Before You Send
OKX does not have one minimum deposit for every coin. Learn where to check the live asset-and-network limit, what happens below it, and how to avoid an uncredited transfer.
Reviewed on September 21, 2026. OKX does not use one universal minimum deposit for every cryptocurrency. The minimum is shown for the specific asset and network you select on the deposit page. Check that live value immediately before sending, because a transfer below the displayed minimum will not be credited or refunded under OKX's current guidance.
The short answer: the coin and network determine the minimum
An OKX minimum deposit is the smallest amount that can be credited for the selected cryptocurrency and blockchain network. There is no reliable static table to memorize: the available networks and their thresholds can change, and the same token may have different requirements on different networks.
This is also different from the minimum withdrawal enforced by the sending exchange or wallet. A sender may allow a small withdrawal that is still below OKX's receiving threshold. The amount that matters is what reaches OKX after any sender-side deduction.

How to check the OKX minimum deposit before sending

Official OKX Help Center instructions for locating the minimum on the app and website, captured September 21, 2026.
In the OKX app
- Open Assets.
- Select Deposit, then Deposit crypto if the app asks you to choose a method.
- Search for the exact cryptocurrency you plan to send.
- Select the blockchain network supported by the sending platform.
- Read the minimum deposit shown on the deposit-details page before copying the address.
On the OKX website
- Sign in through the official OKX website.
- Select Deposit or open Assets → Deposit.
- Choose the cryptocurrency and the receiving network.
- Read the minimum shown with the deposit details.
OKX documents both paths in its official guide, Where can I find the minimum deposit amount?. If your screen differs, use the value shown in your own account rather than a screenshot, article, or number copied from someone else. Product availability can also differ by region.
Four checks before you confirm the transfer
| Check | What to compare | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Asset | The exact coin or token on both platforms | Similar tickers do not prove that two assets are interchangeable |
| Network | The sending network and the OKX deposit network | A network mismatch can prevent automatic crediting |
| Amount received | The amount arriving after the sender's fee | It must meet or exceed the minimum displayed by OKX |
| Address and tag | The destination address and any memo, tag, or comment | Some networks require both values to identify your account |
Do not choose a network only because it appears cheaper. It must be supported on both sides. When OKX displays a memo, tag, or comment, copy it exactly; the official address and tag guide explains where these fields appear. For a deeper checklist, see what to do when an OKX deposit is missing a memo or tag.
A small test transfer can reduce address and network risk, but only if the test amount itself is above the receiving minimum after fees. Sending the smallest amount permitted by the sender is not enough.
What happens if you deposit less than the minimum?
First, confirm that the transaction actually reached the blockchain. Copy the TxID from the sending wallet or exchange and check it on the correct block explorer. If the transaction is still pending or was never broadcast, the issue is with the sender or network—not the OKX minimum.
If the transaction is successful, the destination and network are correct, and the amount that arrived is below the minimum shown by OKX, the platform's current rule is direct: it will not credit or refund that deposit. OKX says the threshold exists partly because very small balances may not cover the miner fees needed when the platform aggregates on-chain funds.
Do not assume that a second small transfer will merge with the first. Only send again after reopening the deposit page and making sure the new transfer independently meets the displayed minimum. Never pay a stranger who promises to “activate” the deposit or manually release it.
If the amount was above the minimum but the balance is still missing, work through the checks in OKX deposit not arrived: the correct troubleshooting order instead of sending another transfer immediately. Keep the TxID, asset, network, amount, destination address, and a screenshot of the deposit details for an official support request.
Crypto minimums and cash-deposit limits are not the same
This guide covers on-chain cryptocurrency deposits. A bank or local-currency deposit may have a separate minimum, maximum, fee, processing time, and rolling daily or monthly limit. Those values can depend on the payment method, region, and verification level. OKX says the applicable figures are shown when you select the cash-deposit method and again on the preview screen.
Do not apply a crypto network's minimum to a bank transfer, and do not treat a cash-deposit limit as the amount needed for a token transfer.
Quick decision guide
- You have not sent yet: open the live OKX deposit page, choose the asset and network, and send an amount that will arrive above the displayed minimum.
- The transaction is pending on-chain: wait for the sender or network; the deposit threshold is not yet the main issue.
- The transfer succeeded but arrived below the minimum: do not expect automatic credit or a refund under the current rule.
- The transfer is above the minimum but missing: verify confirmations, address, network, memo/tag, token contract, and current deposit support.
- You used the wrong network or address: stop sending and use the relevant official recovery route; a minimum-deposit article does not resolve a routing error.
FAQ
What is the minimum deposit on OKX?
There is no single amount for the entire platform. Select the cryptocurrency and network on the OKX deposit page to see the current minimum for that route.
Does the sending fee count toward the minimum?
No. Check the amount that will actually arrive at OKX after any fee deducted by the sending wallet or exchange.
Can two deposits below the minimum be combined?
Do not rely on that. OKX's public guidance says a deposit below the displayed minimum will not be credited or refunded. Make each new transfer independently large enough to meet the live threshold.
Is the minimum the same for every network?
Do not assume so. Select the exact receiving network in your own account and use the value shown there.
